Admin Module Manager
Purpose:

The Admin Module Manager shows a table of the all the administrator modules installed in your Mambo site. This enables you to control each of the admin modules' settings and parameters.

Details  
  • Module Name: The name of the module.
  • Published: Specifies whether a module is published or not. You may click the corresponding iconlet which toggles a modules' published/unpublished state.
  • Reorder: Enables you to reorder the modules by clicking the up/down arrow iconlets.
  • Order: Specifies the numbered ordering of the modules. You can also edit the number sequence of the modules through this column, clicking the Save iconlet next to the Column Heading "Order" stores the new sequence you supplied.
  • Position: Specifies the position where the module item is displayed or set active.
  • ID: This is the ID number for the module item. This is auto-allocated by the Mambo system when the module is saved.
  • Type: The type of the module item.

Toolbar Icons:
  • Publish: Click on the 'Publish' icon to publish your modules on the Mambo Admininistration Site.
  • Unpublish: Click on the 'Unpublish' icon to unpublish your modules from your Mambo Admininistration Site.
  • Copy: Click on the 'Copy' icon to make a copy of the selected module. This enables it to be displayed in more than one place on the Mambo Administration Site. A new version is created with the name 'Copy of (the name of the module you copied)'. You can rename it.
  • New: Click on the "New" icon to create a custom module. This is a very useful module which may be used to output customized code for your Mambo Administration Site.
  • Edit: Click on the 'Edit' icon to edit or modify the module. Clicking the linked name will also perform this function. This enables you to change the attributes of a module like it's title, it's position, the order in which it appears on the Mambo Administration Site, and whether it is published or not. From this page you will also be able to change the location the module appears on edit any parameters that apply to the module.
  • Delete: Click on the 'Delete' icon to delete/uninstall a module from your system. NOTE: You cannot delete the 'last' module of a particular 'type' on this screen. If you want to delete a specific type of module, go to the Install/Uninstall screen as explained above.
