I have had confirmation from Harrow Council that the tree being removed tomorrow is the Ash tree next to 41 Elm Park Road.
There is major dieback throughout the canopy, unfortunately to the extent that crown reduction would not be of benefit.

“The order shall be cited as The Harrow (Elm Park Road) Temporary Traffic Order 2017, and would be operational on 31st August 2017 and would remain in effect until 30th October 2017 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated that all of the work should be complete by 31st August 2017.”
What does it take to put on a band concert! A final Word
• Planning
• Council Permission
• Volunteers, more volunteers.
o We had over 20 people turned up to help erect/dismantle the staging & marquee for each band concert.
o Over 15 stewards helped in the course of the season.
o Four Tea Ladies ensured that the band and stewards didn’t go hungry.
o A First Aider in attendance for every concert – luckily not needed.
• The Bands
• The audience – you raised over £1,900 for the West House & Heath Robinson Museum Trust – Thank You.
• Here are a few pictures of some of the people who make this such a wonderful community event. With the volunteers they show you are never too young to volunteer.
Dixie & Swing music wafted over Pinner Memorial Park this afternoon as the Stardust Big Band played out this seasons concerts.
These concerts would not be the success they are, if it wasn’t for all the volunteers that give up their time to help and of course the audience that turn up for this wonderful community event. I would like to thank everyone for making these concerts possible.
Rumour has it that it was the biggest every bucket collection for the West House & Heath Robinson Museum Trust, for that we thank the audience, (figures will following in a later post).
