Pinner Association Donation to the Friends of Pinner Village Gardens Children’s Playground Fundraising Appeal.
The Friends of Pinner Village Gardens (FoPVG) are actively fundraising to pay for much needed improvements to the children’s playground in that park. Currently, the children’s playground is in a poor condition due to several years of semi-neglect. It is under-utilised by local families due to the limited facilities and it’s rather run down appearance. FoPVG plan to install some key new pieces of children’s play and educational equipment in the existing children’s playground in Pinner Village Gardens park. All the planned improvements will make it a more interesting and fun place to play and spend time and a social hub for local families and friends.
The Pinner Association Committee were pleased to donate £500 to this fundraising appeal and Tim Owen, Pinner Association Honorary Treasurer, formally presented the cheque to the Friends of Pinner Village Gardens on Wednesday 14th February.
