I have double checked this information by speaking to Head Office Customer Services.
Lloyds Pharmacy will be permanently closing at 8pm on Friday 31 August.
On Friday 31 August part of Albury Drive will be closed to traffic. This will be between 145 & 159 Albury Drive.
This is because they hope to film some of the scenes for the movie Rocketman (about Elton John’s life). The film stars Taron Egerton.
The base unit will be at St Helen’s School Northwood and NOT Waxwell Lane Car Park.
I have discovered that our Hon. Secretary Ruth Boff has also received an individual nomination for Harrow Heroes awards. (I’m not certain in which category).
Congratulations Ruth.
We have received an email from one of our local PSCO’s.
Dear Resident,
This morning we have received numerous reports from elderly residents who have received a pre-recorded voice message on their landline from telephone number 020 3287 4777.
The message states that an arrest warrant has been issued and the recipient would be prosecuted unless they called the number back.
I have called this number and the person claims they are from the HMRC. They will ask you to provide the phone number you received the message on, your name and then your National Insurance (NI) number.
THIS IS A SCAM!!
Please do NOT call the phone number back. No government agency would ever use a pre-recorded message for official matters like this.
Please pass this message to anyone you know, especially elderly relatives, neighbours and friends.
Kind regards,
Lee O’Brien PCSO 7562QA
Good News!
We have received an email from Harrow Council.
“Your team has been nominated for a Harrow’s Heroes Award for the amazing work you carry out for Harrow and our residents – congratulations!”
Maybe third time lucky!

Did you know that 35 people helped with this years concerts. Thank you to all the helpers. The youngest helper was 11 years old and the oldest – well I better not spill the beans. These concerts couldn’t happen with out their help and commitment.
The interval bucket collection raised £1436 for the Heath Robinson Museum Trust – Thank you . They have asked us to thank every one who contributed.
At last the weather was perfect for the Final Concert of the season. After a break of two seasons the Grimsdyke Brass Band returned to serenade us.
My personal favourite was Bohemian Rhapsody and I had to remember not to sing!
It was great to see a large audience turn out.
Thank you to the hidden army of helpers that make this happen.
The Final Concert of the season!
