Stardust Big Band

Wow; the weather God’s certainly looked down on us favourably this Sunday as the Stardust Big Band played at the third Concert in the Park.

(I had given up looking at the weather forecast as I didn’t want to get depressed.)

Hardy souls who ignored the weather forecast where treated to some wonderful music and singing.  Thank you to everyone for making it a memorable afternoon.  See you next week for the final concert of the season – The Grimsdyke Brass Band.

PWS – The Final Chapter

We have received an email from Daniel Lester, Head of Communications at Harrow Council, with the final report on Pinner Wood School.

In case you are wondering what they are doing digging up the school field – this is to put a drainage tank in and nothing to do with the chalk mines.

The report is in two parts and can be accessed by clicking on the following links:-

Fats Rollini Jazz & Blues Band

Getting Ready for a Hot Day! – Tarun Patel

Getting ready for a hot day.

Fats Rollini Jazz & Blues Bands got people’s feet tapping as they entertained the audience in the Park.

This week most people sheltered under the trees in the shade as temperatures hit 30C. Any umbrellas being used this week was as sun shades.

See you next week for The Big Stardust Band!
