Nower Hill High School has been recognised as a Music Mark School, a prestigious title for outstanding commitment to quality music education.
Nower Hill High School was nominated by its music hub, Harrow Music Service (HMS). The nomination was in recognition of the value music has as part of the curriculum and how actively the school engages in improving music education provision to benefit all children.
Music Mark Schools gain exclusive access to member only support materials and resources, receive updates of all the latest national and regional sector news, are granted automatic entry into the membership directory, as well as permission to use the Music Mark School logo on communications to support advocacy work.
“This is a huge privilege and honour for Nower Hill High School. The award recognises the efforts of all staff in the Music Department to ensure music plays a pivotal role in each child’s life and provides them the opportunity to be involved in a vibrant and busy Music Department,” said Alicia Johnson, Head of Music, Nower Hill High School.
