A Grand Pinner Household in the 1790’s by Thamar MacIver

Thamar will explore a diary kept at The Hall in Pinner, home to James Grenville MP.  His brothers included the owner of Stowe and the Prime Minister. For us, the main interest is the glimpses of Pinner life – the fair, chalk pits, a stagecoach service, a post lady, and journeys to London, once though floods.
